I learned a long time ago that if you decide to give something back, you should take something back.

“Want it cheaper? I will need more time,” is my standard answer.

I recently heard about an even better Take Back:

“Yes, I will agree to a lower price. But in return, assuming that you are happy with our work, I would like you to give me a testimonial that I can include in my marketing materials. Is that agreeable?”
