I don’t want to name the item or the company, it is a brand I respect. It is not Delta Airlines for goodness sake.
I bought eight of the item three years ago and recently bought two more. But the new ones were different, flimsier, cheaper.
I rarely post reviews on Amazon, but this time I did and I noted that several other recent reviews made note of the quality decline.
I felt I had to go a step further. I sent an email to customer service.
I got an email back. The rep pointed out that the company guarantees its products and offered an exchange.
No, that’s not what I was talking about.
I can only assume that the exchange would be for the same lower quality product, which does me no good.
The reason I sent the note was to warn the company that their reputation is at risk.
I sent the note because I cared.
